Global Fitness Now continues to expand its reach. The exclusive distributor of NESTA programs outside of the US and Canada, Global Fitness Now continues to reach fitness enthusiasts around the world. Under the guidance of Global Fitness Now's Managing Director, Samantha McDermott, NESTA has achieved rapid international growth.

Over the past 18 months, Samantha McDermott has established offices in Nagoya, Tokyo and soon to be Osaka, Japan, which are managed by Reki Higashiyama, the Director of NESTA-Global Fitness Japan. The members of Global Fitness Now's Japanese advisory board include a “Who’s Who” list of high profile Olympic athletes, Olympic coaches, and nationally recognized personal trainers.

Samantha and team recently secured an exclusive partnership with Nintendo, whereby NESTA will be featured in the leading gamer’s Wii Fit programs, to be distributed worldwide.

McDermott has also secured exclusive training and education contracts with the government of Malaysia's Ministry of Youth and Sports and is in the process of finalizing contracts with other governments throughout the region.

Future growth is targeted for Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

A former award-winning journalist and news director, Samantha McDermott frequently advises corporations on how to effectively work with the media to expand their businesses. As an entrepreneur, McDermott gives guidance to small business owners and emerging growth companies through the Spencer SBA and has been a guest lecturer for Chapman University’s MBA Program.
